East Lansing Educational Foundation - Jason Wildman Scholarship Fund

“We established the Jason Wildman Scholarship Fund to honor the memory of our son, who died on August 30, 2007, by improving the life prospects for another young person. For increasing numbers of people the rising cost of college is a growing barrier to acquiring a higher education and building a better life. To help address this need in a small way, we have established this fund to ensure that a financially at-risk East Lansing sixth-grader can look forward knowing that school-related expenses will be covered through high school, and that funds sufficient to cover the cost of a college education will also be available. Our hope is that if we can ease a serious financial constraint for someone who is still young, they will be able to visualize and attain a future that otherwise might have seemed out of reach.” — Steve and Susan Wildman.
