Ovid-Elsie Gladys Vincent - E. E. Knight Scholarship Fund

Established by Gladys Vincent in honor of her father, E.E. Knight. The fund is to provide college scholarships for tuition and books for Ovid-Elsie High School seniors for a bachelor's degree education leading to classroom teaching.

Scholarship Eligibility Criteria:

Scholarship recipients are chosen by an Ovid-Elsie Scholarship Advisory Committee.

-- Applicant must be a graduate of Ovid-Elsie High School

-- Applicant must be pursuing a full-time course of study leading to a bachelor's degree in the field of education

-- Applicant's career goal is to be classroom teaching

-- Preference is given to students maintaining an overall high school GPA of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and students who have demonstrated financial need
