Thornton Family (George and Emma, Jim and Becky) Endowment Fund
Established by the late George Thornton in 1999, for the purpose of awarding scholarships to one or more needy and worthy students to obtain a college education or training from Lansing Community College.Scholarship Eligibility Criteria:
Recipients are chosen by the scholarship department at Lansing Community College
-- Student must be from Ingham, Eaton or Clinton County
-- Scholarships will cover the costs of tuition, fees, and/or books
-- Preferably the student will be from a minority group (including Native American Indians)
